01Our story
20 years of experience. One international vision.
It all began with the family business Balde & Frères, headquartered in Bamako and later established in Dakar. This is where Mahamadou Arby Baldé started out in trade at a young age.
As his commercial success grew, he set up import-export companies in several West African countries — Togo, Ghana, Côte d’Ivoire, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, The Gambia — and then in Central Africa: Gabon, the Republic of the Congo and the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
In 2014 he founded Arby et Frères, active in general trading and food import-export. To modernise his opportunities, he then created DIAMIOU International Precious Metals Trading (DIT LLC – FZCO) in the Dubai free zone, focused on precious metals and stones.
